Photo Dump from May

Star Wars Day at Brandon's work. Austin was standing in line to "fight" Darth Vader. He was moved to Darth Maul's line and well he broke down, started crying, ran away, and threw his lightsaber. However, he told us that he had fun...

Wearing his goggles!

He is learning to master the selfies. I find at least 20 pictures in a row of him or the floor after he has been left with my phone. I think his record is 76.

Mother's Day we snuggled after church and he napped. He also made that cute card and gift for me in Nursery.

Playing at the splash pad!

Going to the Gardens at Thanksgiving Point.

He had a run in with the door going into the dentist when I was going. Thankfully the dentist office is amazing. They gave him a sucker, and some toys, got a band-aide and were even trying to see if the doctor's office upstairs had some Tylenol samples. Also, Daddy was already there for his appointment so that helped bunches! Poor boy lost his toe nail shortly after.

Brandon built me a mantle!

We went to the zoo with Christina and Mariel. They had a blast. Also, the zoo has a nice splash pad now.

Rest of April

He has grow up so much in the last little bit. We have done swimming in the bath tub a few times. He has started to draw people, and he is getting really good at focusing and trying to paint in the lines.

Do you love his new pose? Seriously, this kid has us laughing all day, even we aren't supposed to...

Austin had been afraid of trampolines, but he overcame that fear and now loves it!

We have been having nap time in mom and dad's bed. He has been taking the best naps!
Playing at the park with mom!
Reading his friend Magic Tree House

Austin had his first dentist appointment ever. We had been talking about it for a week before. Telling him what would happen and how nice the dentist is. I even found a few clips for him to watch. We didn't want him to be scared. They were so great with him! Austin climbed up in the chair, leaned back and just stayed there watching a movie. They gave him headphones and he was good to go. He got to watch Frozen!

Now, I was worried that he wouldn't let them do most things to him. However, he surprised me by letting them everything! I am talking everything!! Cleaning, scraping his teeth, the suction hose, spraying water in, flossing, and painting on the fluoride. He never once complained or moved away. They were very impressed by how well he did!

Once he was done, he got down and was able to get his goody bag. This bag had toothpaste, floss, flossers, a Monsters Inc. toothbrush, and a toy car. Then, because he didn't have any cavities he was able to pick a spin brush (Captain America), and then he was given a coin to get something from the prize area. He picked a bouncy ball. Seriously, this kid got so much!! He loved going to the dentist and when we left he said that was the best place ever!

As a reward for him being so good, we went and got breakfast at Kneaders. He had a great time with mom. He definitely made us proud that morning!
