Brandon has a new car

Well, Brandon decided that he wanted a new car. He was tired of driving a car that wasn't what he wanted. He bought his last car with the idea was that he was going to fix it up. He has done some work but we don't have the time or the money to put into it. He was also tired of driving something that didn't have working A/C, actually the heat is stuck on.

We looked around and he found a few that he was interested in. We test drove all of them, but he came to settle on this one:

It is an Infiniti M45. A 2004 with 90,000 miles. We were able to get it for a super good deal. In fact, similar cars go for over $1500 more than we got it for.

It has heated/cooled seats, built in navigation, a sunroof, plenty of room, adaptive cruise control, keys with memory seat/mirrors, mirrors that tilt down when in reverse, and more.

In true Brandon fashion, he got straight to work on replacing bulbs and removing cables that have no use. The nice thing is that once that was all done he doesn't have anything else to work on.

Exciting news!!

Many of you know by now but we are expecting a sweet little boy in January. I am due on January 10th, which is the day after Austin's fourth birthday. Crazy! I don't want them to share a birthday but that might actually happen.

This baby already is a stinker. When they were trying to view his heart he kept turning all around. He would flip as soon as she almost had a clear picture. I had to roll on to my sides, sit up, back down, on to my side again, and finally after about 10 minutes they were able to get it.

Austin is so excited! He had told us that before the appointment that he wanted a little brother. When the ultrasound tech revealed the gender and we told Austin, he got so excited!!

We hadn't told anyone with the past history. Information on it here. Austin had kept the secret for a long time and was so happy when he could finally talk about it. He keeps saying that he is going to be a big brother, have a brother but the baby has to keep growing first.

Now we just need to get everything back out again and set up. We only have a few things that we need to buy. It is much easier to have the same gender, that is for sure. Also, we have to decide on a name.

Spelling his name

Rest of August

Austin loves taking baths! Most of the time now it is showers, but he asks for baths constantly.

I love finding him in his reading area. It makes my heart happy that he has a love for books.

It was raining and Austin asked to go play outside. He took his bucket and placed it on his head. He was 'protecting his head' from the rain.

The dinosaur museum is always fun.

The stick in his shirt is an arrow in the quiver. The sticks in his hands are the bow and another arrow.

I was filling in for my friend's babysitter, watching her sweet little girl. Austin was so sweet with her. He loved spending time with her, playing with her, and keeping her happy when she would cry.

I was shopping for new flip flops and Austin found this hat.

We went to the Ogden Temple open house. Austin wasn't the happiest camper since it was during his name time. However, it was nice to walk through, it was a Saturday so it was super packed, but it was still nice to feel the spirit.
